Northland Air Hydraulics supplies Enerpac high-pressure hydraulic hoses for cylinders, pumps, torque wrenches, hydraulic cutters, bolt tensioners and sealed hand-pump systems. The current Enerpac range includes H700 thermoplastic safety hoses, H900 heavy-duty rubber hoses, THQ twin torque-wrench hoses, CH720 cutter hoses, HT ultra-high-pressure tensioning hoses, and the 3027 / 1440 standard and ATEX hose families.

Enerpac hydraulic hoses are built for specific pressure ranges, hose constructions, couplers and tool applications. Standard 10,000 psi cylinder and pump hoses use different configurations than torque-wrench twin hoses, hydraulic cutter hoses or 21,750 psi bolt-tensioning hoses. Matching the hose to the pump, tool, pressure rating and connection style is essential to the integrity of the hydraulic system.

Pressure rating is only the first check.
A hose must also match the hydraulic tool, couplers, connection type, length, internal diameter and application. Standard 10,000 psi cylinder hoses are not torque-wrench hoses, and neither should be substituted for 21,750 psi bolt-tensioning hoses.

The H700 / H900 hose chart uses Enerpac coupler model codes as hose-end configurations. These are the matching coupler families shown in the current E331 system-components section.
H700-Series Thermo-Plastic High-Pressure Hydraulic Hoses
Enerpac H700-Series thermo-plastic safety hoses are 10,000 psi hydraulic hoses for demanding industrial applications. A polyurethane outer jacket provides abrasion resistance, the hose is designed for low volumetric expansion under pressure, and the series uses vinyl strain-relief guards at both ends.
H700 hoses are commonly used between Enerpac hydraulic pumps, cylinders, control valves and other 10,000 psi tools in lifting, pressing, maintenance, construction, mining and field-service systems. Available configurations include 0.25 and 0.38 inch internal diameters, multiple hose lengths and several NPTF or Enerpac coupler combinations.
H900-Series Heavy-Duty Rubber Hydraulic Hoses
Enerpac H900-Series heavy-duty rubber hoses use a rubber cover with two steel-wire braids for flexible long-run hydraulic connections. The range includes configurations up to 50 feet and is designed to comply with Material Handling Institute IJ100 hose specifications.
H900 hoses are intended for heavy-duty 10,000 psi hydraulic systems where flexibility and reduced hose memory are important, including longer hose runs on lifting, pressing and industrial maintenance equipment.
THQ-Series Twin Torque Wrench Hoses
Enerpac THQ-Series twin torque wrench hoses are thermo-plastic dual safety hoses for 10,000 psi hydraulic torque wrench systems. They use 1/4 inch spin-on torque wrench couplers and are specifically listed for Enerpac S, W, RSL, DSX and HMT-Series torque wrenches and compatible torque pumps.
THQ twin hoses are used for hydraulic bolting and torque wrench work in power generation, wind, oil and gas, mining, construction and industrial maintenance. The range includes 6, 19.5 and 39 foot lengths.
CH720 Cutter Twin Hoses
Enerpac CH720 cutter hoses are dedicated 20-foot twin-hose assemblies for compatible hydraulic cutters. CH720EC includes couplers, protective sheath and an electric control cable for EBH and EWCH cutters; CH720MC is a twin hose with couplers for EDCH decommissioning cutters.
These cutter hose assemblies connect specialized Enerpac cutter pumps to remote hydraulic cutting tools and are used in rebar cutting, wire and cable cutting, demolition, decommissioning and industrial dismantling work.
HT-Series 21,750 psi Bolt-Tensioning Hoses
Enerpac HT-Series ultra-high-pressure hoses are designed for bolt tensioning systems up to 21,750 psi. The range includes cone-to-cone hoses, BH150 / BR150 quick-coupler hose configurations, female-to-female hoses, stainless-steel hose reel / stand assemblies, and Y-pipe hose assemblies for multi-tool tensioning layouts.
HT tensioning hoses are used with hydraulic bolt tensioners, hydraulic nuts, multi-tool tensioning systems and subsea fastening applications where standard 10,000 psi hoses and torque-wrench couplers are not suitable.
3027 & 1440-Series Hoses for HP Sealed Hand Pumps
Enerpac 3027-Series standard hydraulic hoses and 1440-Series ATEX hydraulic hoses are listed with the HP sealed hand-pump range. The hoses are for 10,000 psi hydraulic service and are offered in several lengths for standard and hazardous-area pump systems.
These hoses support portable sealed hand-pump systems for flange maintenance, industrial maintenance and hydraulic tooling where spill resistance, all-angle pump operation or hazardous-area equipment may be required.

Common hose-selection questions
What is the difference between Enerpac H700 and H900 hoses?
H700-Series hoses are thermo-plastic safety hoses with a polyurethane jacket, low volumetric expansion and a 4:1 safety factor. H900-Series are heavy-duty rubber hoses with two steel-wire braids and greater flexibility for long hose runs. The current E331 marks H900-Series as USA & Latin-America only.
When should I use a 0.38 inch internal-diameter hose?
Enerpac specifically recommends HC7300-Series larger-ID hoses to reduce back pressure and increase retract speed when long hoses are used with single-acting cylinders.
Can I use a standard H700 hose on a torque wrench?
Use the dedicated THQ twin torque wrench hose for Enerpac double-acting torque wrench systems. THQ hoses use the required paired spin-on torque-wrench couplers.
Can a 10,000 psi hose be used for bolt tensioning?
No. Enerpac bolt-tensioning systems can operate to 21,750 psi and use dedicated HT-Series hoses, couplers and fittings.
How much oil does a long hydraulic hose hold?
For H700/H900 standard hoses, E331 gives approximate oil-volume formulas of 0.59 cubic inches per foot for 0.25 inch ID hose and 1.36 cubic inches per foot for 0.38 inch ID hose.
