Enerpac lists two standard gasoline hydraulic pump families in this pump range: the portable ZG-Series and the larger EGM8000-Series.
ZG-Series Gasoline Hydraulic Pumps
Enerpac ZG-Series gasoline hydraulic pumps combine a two-speed Z-Class pumping element with 4-cycle gasoline engines for portable high-pressure hydraulic power. Standard configurations use either a 5.5 hp Honda® engine or a 13.2 hp Briggs & Stratton® engine and provide up to 10,000 psi for single-acting and double-acting hydraulic cylinders.
ZG-Series gas-powered hydraulic pumps are most likely to be used on remote or mobile work sites where electrical power or shop air is unavailable or inconvenient. Common applications include construction, bridge and infrastructure maintenance, heavy-equipment repair, field lifting, industrial maintenance, structural positioning and other high-pressure hydraulic cylinder work. The higher-flow ZG6 configuration is especially suited to larger oil-volume systems and demanding field operations.

EGM8000-Series Gasoline Hydraulic Pumps
Enerpac EGM8000-Series gasoline hydraulic pumps are high-output 18 hp power units designed for large hydraulic jobs. They use a 25-gallon reservoir with 18 gallons of usable oil and a two-speed pump delivering 3.4 gal/min in the first stage and 1.5 gal/min at 10,000 psi in the second stage.
EGM8000 gasoline hydraulic power units are most likely to be used where large cylinders, high oil volume and rapid advance are required without relying on electrical power. Typical applications include synchronized lifting, bridge jacking, large structural lifts, heavy industrial maintenance, high-tonnage cylinder systems, machinery movement and other demanding field operations where a smaller portable pump would not provide enough oil capacity or flow.

Choose ZG-Series when...
You need a more portable gas-powered 10,000 psi pump for field work, moderate reservoir capacity and single- or double-acting cylinders. ZG5 models provide 100 in³/min at 10,000 psi; the larger ZG6 catalog model provides 200 in³/min at 10,000 psi.
Choose EGM8000 when...
You need substantially more usable oil and high-pressure flow for large hydraulic systems. EGM8000 provides 18 gallons of usable oil and 1.5 gal/min at 10,000 psi for large cylinders and heavy lifting applications.
