Hydraulic Accumulator Repair & Rebuild in Edmonton

Northland Air Hydraulics repairs and rebuilds hydraulic accumulators — bladder, piston, and diaphragm — for industrial and mobile equipment across Edmonton and Alberta. We tear down, inspect, replace worn components with OEM-quality parts, then pressure-test and charge each unit before it returns to service. If your accumulator is leaking, won’t hold pressure, or has lost its charge, we can usually rebuild it for far less than the cost of replacement.

What we repair and rebuild

We service accumulators of every major type and brand, including units we didn’t supply. Common jobs include:

●        Bladder replacement and complete bladder-accumulator rebuilds

●        Piston accumulator reseal and rebuild

●        Diaphragm accumulator service and replacement

●        Valve, poppet, gas-valve and port repairs

●        Units that won’t hold pressure, are leaking gas or oil, or have failed internally

Our repair process

Every accumulator follows the same controlled, four-step process so nothing is missed and the unit comes back reliable.

1. Inspection — we inspect the shell, ports, valve assembly, and bladder/piston/diaphragm to find the fault.

2. Disassembly — the accumulator is safely depressurized and stripped, and all internal parts are inspected.

3. Rebuild — worn components are replaced with OEM-quality parts and the unit is reassembled to spec.

4. Testing — each unit is pressure-tested and nitrogen-charged before returning to service.

Repair or replace?

Most accumulators are worth repairing. Bladders, seals and internal components are replaceable, and a rebuild typically costs far less than a new unit while restoring as-new performance. If a shell is corroded or damaged beyond safe reuse, we’ll tell you honestly and supply a replacement — we won’t rebuild something that shouldn’t go back into service.

Brands we repair

We repair and rebuild all major accumulator brands, including HYDAC, Parker (Greer), Bosch Rexroth, Olaer, Tobul and Enerpac. If your unit is from another manufacturer, we can almost certainly still service it — send us the details.
